IPOA Operational Ability Boosted

Besides, it will help reduce the time taken between when a complaint is received and the instance a response is made on the ground, particularly in far-flung areas of the country where the terrain is challenging.

Four Officers In Court For Assault, Disobeying IPOA Summons

Four police officers are expected at the Bondo law courts today, Wednesday June 15, 2022, to face various charges including assault and disobeying lawful summons.

This follows an investigation by the Independent Policing Oversight Authority into an incident in which Mr. Samuel Odongo Okwero, was inflicted with injuries during a routine police stop at Usenge Township, Siaya County on December 7, 2016.
